There are three types of Currency in Biz Tycoon: Gold, Tokens and Cash. Gold is acquired through payment while Tokens and Cash can only be produced within game. Players run shops, finish quests and participate in activities to earn Tokens and Cash. Cash is used in general affairs like opening Shops, purchasing Lands, paying Salaries and Overheads and cultivating Employees, etc. Tokens are used in upgrading CEO level, CEO skill level and Employee level. Gold can partly take place of Tokens or Cash and speed up your gaming progress.
Player's character will not be invisible and abstract in Biz Tycoon; instead it'll have an interface for players to operate on. There are many roles for players to choose: college students, bosses, strategists and pioneers. In CEO panel, you can see yourself grow stronger, obtain higher Phases, master more CEO skills and carry out various investments. You'll have a good knowledge about your potential.
2.1 Attributes, Phases and Daily Operations
CEO's Attributes include Intendance, Analytics and Social. When Attributes reach a certain level, players could obtain corresponding Phase and a proper Phase rank is a precondition in learning CEO skills.
Players can increase their Attributes by doing Daily Operations. There are 3 modes of Daily Operations: 3 min mode, 120 min mode and 480 min mode which cause different amount of Attribute increases. Under every mode there are 3 operations which specifically influence Intendance, Analytics or Social. Plus, when players do the 3-min-mode Operations, they'll get a random Luxury which could be sold for Cash. Isn't it thrilling?
CEO Phases include: Conceptual, Pitching, Seed, Growth, Roadshow, IPO, Expansion, Multi-Industry, Congomerate, Legendary. When the next higher Phase is obtained, one more CEO Skill will be available to learn.
2.2 CEO Skills
CEO Skills are very important to players' upgrading and growing. There are 10 CEO Skills which influence many business affairs such as prices, employee cultivation, procurement and stocks. CEO Skill could be upgraded with Tokens or Gold.

2.3 CEO Privilege
CEO privilege is a symbol of your status. Not only will it provide you extra bonuses, but also CEO identity is the access to many strengthening functions like having your own icon, modifying nicknames, investment, creating Chamber, etc. The upgrading of CEO level in early phases take relatively fewer Tokens so the investment in CEO level upgrading at early phases is a recommended choice.
When you get to CEO Lv 8, you can make investment in Supply Chains with Cash. There are 36 Supply Chains in game which are all available to invest. Through investment you can get Supply Chains Investment Dividend. When you become a Controlling Shareholder (≥51%), you can even restrict the supply channels of other competitors.
Company is your property and all the business operations are carried out through companies. Your company buys ands, opens shops, joins Guilds and has other business behaviors. When it gets higher level, your company can hold more employees and expect larger Receivable. More advanced Shops and Buildings will be open as the company is leveling up.
There are five departments in a company: HR department, Finance department, PR. Department, Advertising department, Sourcing department. Each of them administrates a division of the company's day-to-day affairs.
HR department: carry out employee cultivations including Exercise, Train, Communicate and Upgrade.
Finance department: manage company's Currency. Level of Finance Dept affects the upper limit of Tokens you can hold.
PR. Department: increase shops' morale and build their competitiveness.
Advertising department: perform advertising for shops and increase their Media Coverage (MC).
Sourcing department: conduct procurement for shops and set general workload for PR. and Advertising department.
Statements record company's incomes and expenses. In Finance Details you can even check every record of making profit or paying expenses.
History is a book of your company's anecdotes. It tells the story about how you create the company, upgrade the departments, become a VIP, master management skills, open shops and construct buildings, etc. When you finally make it and start to look back over these journals, you may get strong feelings and marvel at the achievements you make.
Shops are actually where you make most of the profits. Players can open various kinds of shops and maximize the profits by reasonable arrangements of shop deployment. They need to take not only shops but also the overall picture into consideration.
4.1 Industries and Shop Types
There are 9 industries in Biz Tycoon: Franchising, Catering, General, Entertainments, Culture and Sports, Home Furnishings, Clothing, Digital, Luxuries. Every industry contains 4 types of shops, which makes 36 types of shops in total. Different type of shops has different purchasing price, supply chain, selling price and stocks cost, thus there is no competition between the 36 types of shops. All the 36 types of shops are sorted into 4 groups, and each group has 9 shops, one shop from one industry. When players start to set up shops, one group randomly picked from the 4 groups is open to him and the other groups will be open as he continues to upgrade his company.
4.2 Shop Attributes
Generally speaking, Shop Attributes include shop's basic attributes, Level and Demographics (Demo.). In a narrow sense, Shop Attributes only refer to the basic attributes: Professionalism, Willingness to Compete (WTC) and Media Coverage (MC).
Professionalism means the service quality of the shop. It is affected by the sum level of the shop's employees. Higher level they are, higher Professionalism the shop has.
Willingness to Compete (WTC) refers to the morale of the employees. When there is no competition around the shop, WTC remains the same. WTC goes lower as the competition appears. When it gets too low, the shop will not be functional. To make it working again, you need to have PR. Department conduct WTC campaign over the shop.
Media Coverage (MC) is the popularity the shop owns over the neighborhood and is a precondition in upgrading Shops. New shops often have a poor MC and need Advertising Department to conduct MC campaign to increase the MC.
Shop Level affects the shop's Geographical and Population Coverage (GPC) and is an important factor in calculating the shop's incomes. There are five levels for shops and each level has different demand on the shop's MC.
Demographics (Demo.) equal the shop's Geographical and population coverage (GPC) or the shop's customer handling capacity (CHC), whichever is smaller.
Perks are the most direct and obvious reflection of shops' competitiveness. Perks of all kinds determine the shop's incomes together.
There is a list of perks Shops can have.
CEO level perks: activate your CEO privilege and your shops can have CEO level perks. Higher CEO level, higher perks.
Manager level perks: Shop manager's level have perks on the shop's profits. Higher manager level, higher perks.
Manager skill perks: Manager's vocational skills have perks on the shop's profits. Higher sum level his vocational skills have, higher perks there will be.
Professionalism perks: Professionalism has perks on the shop's incomes. Higher Professionalism, higher perks. Upgrading employees can increase Professionalism.
Guild perks: Higher level your Guild is, higher perks you can enjoy.
Infills perks: More Infills in the land, more perks there will be for shops.
Chamber perks: Guild Chambers have perks on the industries they influence.
Employees are important assets of a company. A group of skillful employees can push the company to new heights. There are 6 ways to cultivate employees. Cultivating employees can increase their attributes.
5. 1. Employee Attributes
Employee Attributes include basic attributes, level and Discernment.
5.1.1. Basic Attributes include Exp, Adaptability and Loyalty which can be enhanced through Exercise, Training and Communication respectively. Upgrading the basic attributes is a precondition to upgrade the employee level.
5.1.2. Employee Level affects executive appointment and perks added to shops. The original level of a newly recruited employee is level 1. Upgrade can improve the employee level and has a chance for the employees to grasp skills. The chance is relevant to the employee Discernment and level. The higher the employee's level and Discernment, the greater the chance can be. To upgrade the employee level requires the levels of the basic attributes to be equal to or higher than the employee's current level.
5.1.3. An employee's Discernment can be revealed after evaluation. Employee Discernment has an impact on the success rate of a number of employee cultivation. The higher the Discernment an employee has, the higher the success rate during one's Skill Upgrade (in Tokens), Skill Change (in Tokens) and Upgrade (in Cash, Tokens). The employee would get full attributes with Tryout evaluation. Please note that payment in Gold guarantees a 100% success rate.
5.2. Employee Skills
Employee Skills are divided into Vocational Skills and Business Skills. There are 10 vocational skills and 5 business skills. Employees with required Vocational Skills can be assigned as Department Executives and Landmark Executives. Shop managers will need Business Skills. The higher a shop manager's total business skills' level, the larger the perks that can be added to a shop.
5.3. Employee Management
After recruiting employees, you can Deploy, Dismiss, or Rename them. Every employee can be assigned to work in the shops. To upgrade your company departments or Landmarks, you need to appoint employees whose vocational skills and the skills' levels meet the requirements to be executives of the departments or Landmarks.
Idle employees can be dismissed. You need to pay a certain amount of Gold or Tokens to dismiss an employee. After the employee is dismissed, the position will be vacant. Only a maximum of 30% of the current employees can be dismissed each day.
When your VIP level reaches level 3, you can rename your employees. Each employee can only be renamed three times.
A Guild is the place where business elites get together. Join a guild to claim Tokens and enjoy perks. When you meet certain requirements, you can also create or join a Guild Sector Chamber (GSC) which is an important part of a guild.
A guild can add perks to all your shops. The higher the level of the Guild, the more Guild Perks you can get. Guild upgrade consumes Cash in the Guild Fund. The more Cash you contribute, the more Vouchers you can get in return. Vouchers can be exchanged for Tokens. Join in a guild and you will be able to participate in The Apprentice (PvE) and Guild Wars (PvP).
6. 2. Token Exchange
You can exchange for Tokens in the Token Center of your guild with Vouchers obtained from contribution or with Gold. The number of Tokens exchangeable each time is equal to twice the guild level.
To exchange for Tokens with Vouchers, you need to donate Cash to the Guild Fund first. Each time you exchange, the number of Tokens in your guild will decrease. When you use up Vouchers or your guild is short of Tokens, you won't be able to exchange. You can exchange with Vouchers 24 times every day.
To exchange for Tokens with Gold doesn't cost Tokens from your guild. But the Gold needed will increase in the next exchange. You can exchange with Gold 24 times every day.
6.3. Guild Sector Chambers (GSC)
When your VIP level reaches level 11, and you are the President or a Vice President of the guild, you will be able to found a Chamber. Guild sector chamber (GSC) is an important part of a guild. There are 15 types of GSC that can add perks to your shops after you join them.
Building Landmarks can increase population. More population means more profits your shops can generate. The cost of building a landmark is high and landmarks also have high overheads. There are 18 landmarks in the game. Upgrading the landmarks can further increase population. Before upgrading a landmark, you need to appoint employees with proper skills as executives.
Futures Market is a very important part of the in-game economic system. Futures trading can earn you lots of cash. There are 12 types of Futures. You can gain access to more advanced types of Futures when you upgrade your company level. All Futures prices change every 20 seconds. Each type of futures can be bought once after their prices are refreshed. The maximum quantity of a single buy in transaction is 500. There is no restriction on how much and when you are allowed to sell.
The price of each type of Futures will fluctuate against a basic price. The price difference will not exceed 50% of the basic price. You can find out the previous prices by checking the price chart which can help you make your next buying or selling decision in the Futures trading.
9. International Trade
International Trade can generate tremendous wealth for the company. When your company reaches level 10, you can do international trade.
There are 12 ports. You can buy goods from one port and sell them to another. Buy goods from your current location and select a destination to ship them to. Once the freighter arrives at the destination, sell the goods to make money. If you're carrying Restricted Goods, Prohibited Goods, be extra careful about getting caught by customs!
The larger your freighter's capacity (FC), the higher the potential profit that you can earn on a shipment. When your company reaches Level 15, you are entitled to appoint your idle employee(s) with the qualified skills to the Freighter's crew complement. The fuller your freighter's complement, the more unit capacity of goods that she can load.
10. Interaction System
Interaction system includes Strategic Attack and Stealing shops.
10.1. Strategic Attack
Psychological Operations and Dissolutions are business harassments made by you to hurt other players' shops. These harassments can create harm to shops' Willingness to Compete (WTC) and Media Coverage (MC). There are 3 ways of harassing: Misinformation, Consumer Complaints and Dissolution.
10.1.1. Misinformation: Propagate misinformation through credit-rating agency against the shop to bring down its Willingness to Compete (WTC).
10.1.2. Consumer Complaints: Organize disgruntled consumers to file complaints against the shop to bring down its Media Coverage (MC).
10.1.3. Dissolution: Propagate factoids and blend common misconceptions to the tabloids about the shop to crumble its Media Coverage (MC).
10.2. Stealing shops
You can undermine your opponents by stealing a part of their shops' cash. However, if you are discovered, you will be expelled and fined a certain amount of Cash. You can use Token or Gold to hire guards to patrol your own shops. Shops under patrol cannot be stolen.
11. Currency System
11.1. Types of Currency
There are three game currencies in Biz Tycoon: Gold, Token and Cash.
(A) Gold: The advanced currency in the game, mainly gained through recharging. It is irreplaceable with many special functions. In some circumstance, it can also take the place of Token and Cash.
(B) Token: The main currency in the game, used for the key functions in the game. You can gain it from exchanging Voucher or Gold in Token Center, instead of the business operation directly. The exchangeable Tokens are limited for every day. It is also irreplaceable when you use certain functions.
(C) Cash: The main currency in the game, gained from business operation directly. However, its use has restrictions. You can contribute Cash in your Guild to get more Vouchers for the Token to increase its use. It is also irreplaceable when you use certain functions.
11.2. Source of Currency
